Our company’s drip irrigation products were developed based on market demand and field research, taking various factors into account. Below is the product description:
I. Development Principles
1. Physical Operating Principle
The entire system relies on gravity-induced pressure differences for fluid flow, requiring no external power sources such as electricity or water pumps. A hanging bag filled with liquid (such as a chemical solution, water, or fertilizer) is suspended at an elevation; gravity causes the liquid to flow out through the tubing. A flow regulator controls the drip rate, and the liquid is delivered into the soil or tree via a long needle, ensuring a slow, continuous supply.
The bag is made of thickened, flexible composite material featuring an integrated handle and a large-capacity reservoir. It is designed to withstand the weight of the liquid, resist tearing, and allow for repeated refilling. An S-hook is included for suspension and securing.
2. Application Technology Principles (Two Modes of Administration)
1) Root-Zone Soil Drip Irrigation Mode (Primary Method): A long needle is inserted deep into the soil surrounding the tree roots, delivering nutrient solutions, rooting agents, or pesticides directly to the root-dense zone. This avoids the nutrient loss and surface runoff associated with flood irrigation. Slow infiltration allows for continuous root absorption, minimizes fertilizer fixation by the soil, and enhances the utilization efficiency of the applied agents and fertilizers.
2) Trunk Infusion Mode: By replacing the long needle with a specialized adapter, the system can be converted for trunk infusion. Liquid is introduced into the xylem and distributed throughout the tree via transpiration pull; this method is used for revitalizing mature trees and controlling pests and diseases.
II. Primary Use Cases
1. Root-Zone Drip Irrigation for Large Landscape Trees: For transplanted or declining trees—where trunk infusion via drilling is not desired—the long needle is inserted into the soil surrounding the root zone. This allows for the drip irrigation of rooting agents, nutrient solutions, and drought-resistant water-retention agents. Continuous supply to the roots promotes new root growth and increases transplant survival rates; this method is particularly suitable for large-diameter trees.
2. Orchard Tree Maintenance (High-Frequency Use Case): For apple, peach, and citrus trees; allows for drip application of rooting fertilizers, water-soluble fertilizers, insecticides, and fungicides, as well as targeted hydration during dry spells. Capable of delivering large volumes of liquid per tree without the need for hose connections; highly practical for hillside orchards and plots lacking irrigation infrastructure.
3. Care for Ancient and Famous Trees: Frequent trunk drilling is often discouraged for ancient trees; deep-root drip irrigation is the preferred method. Delivers nutrient solutions and antimicrobial agents directly to the root zone, minimizing trunk damage, improving the root environment, and revitalizing tree health.
4. Forestry, Nursery, and Barren Hill Greening: Ideal for plots lacking irrigation networks; enables batch hydration and treatment for seedlings and young trees. The soft bags are easy to transport and refill, reducing equipment costs and making them suitable for remote field sites.
5. Pest and Disease Control (Root-Zone Application): Targets piercing-sucking pests and soil-borne diseases by delivering systemic agents via drip irrigation to the roots, where they are absorbed and distributed throughout the tree. This method offers longer-lasting efficacy compared to foliar spraying, especially in situations where spraying is difficult or ineffective.
III. Core Product Advantages
✅ Gravity-fed drip irrigation (no power or pumps required); suitable for operation in remote field sites and hillside orchards.
✅ Large capacity allows for higher liquid delivery per cycle, reducing the need for frequent refilling; the thickened bag is tear-resistant and reusable.
✅ Precision flow regulator with scale markings allows for adjustable drip rates to suit various chemical agents and tree types.
✅ Long needle probe penetrates deep into the soil to reach the root zone, ensuring high utilization rates of water, fertilizers, and chemicals while minimizing loss due to surface evaporation.
✅ Portable design ensures easy transport and filling, with simple assembly and disassembly.
