1. Principles of Product Development
The xylem of a tree trunk contains numerous interconnected vascular bundles , forming a natural transport network. Relying on the negative pressure generated by transpiration from the leaves, water and nutrients are transported upwards to all branches and leaves. Traditional root fertilization and watering methods significantly reduce root absorption capacity when the tree's roots are injured or the soil is compacted and saline, making nutrient absorption difficult. Intravenous infusion bypasses damaged roots, delivering nutrient solution directly into the xylem's vascular system. Utilizing the tree's own transpiration pull combined with atmospheric pressure, nutrients are transported to the branches, trunk, and leaves, achieving direct replenishment within the tree and avoiding problems such as soil fixation and root burn.

Intravenous infusion delivers medication directly into the tree, unaffected by soil conditions, resulting in high absorption efficiency, rapid effects, and no soil contamination . For damaged trees, ancient trees, and newly transplanted trees, it can be combined with nutrient solution or medicinal solution formulas (depending on the tree's condition) and injected via intravenous drip to improve the tree's problems. The complete infusion bag assembly (infusion bag, flow regulator, multiple needles, suspension rope) enables gravity-fed infusion, with controllable flow rate and multiple needles for dispersed delivery, reducing damage to the trunk from a single inlet.

4. Main Application Scenarios:
Large tree transplantation projects (most common) : After transplanting and planting street trees, landscape trees, and ancient trees, many roots are broken during the excavation process, resulting in extremely poor water and fertilizer absorption capacity, easily leading to leaf drop, bud dieback, and tree death. Intravenous nutrient solution provides rapid hydration and replenishment, improving transplant survival rates and shortening the recovery period. It is also used to rejuvenate
weakened mature trees exhibiting symptoms such as weak growth, yellowing and sparse leaves, poor budding, and semi-dead branches; and in soil compaction or saline-alkali land where root absorption is hindered, resulting in poor root fertilization effectiveness.
For fruit tree maintenance , it is used to address yellowing and nutrient deficiencies in apple, peach, and citrus trees; trees damaged by heavy fruit production; and trees damaged by frost or sunscald. This method provides nutritional supplementation and restores tree vigor; it can also be used in conjunction with systemic pesticides for the control of borers.
Ancient and famous trees are protected because their root systems are aging and their absorption capacity is declining. They are not suitable for large amounts of soil fertilization. Minimally invasive intravenous nutrient supplementation can be used to reduce damage to the roots and the tree body.
Repairing trees damaged by stress: After trees suffer from high temperature, drought, frost damage, or mechanical damage, the tree's metabolism is disordered. This is used to relieve stress and promote the recovery of buds and leaves.
5. Method of use
(1) Drill holes at the base of the trunk at an angle of 45° upwards and downwards, to a depth of 3-5 cm, to the xylem, and clean up the sawdust.
(2) Insert the needle into the hole and tighten it. Hang the bag above the hole so that the infusion tube is spread out and straightened. Turn on the flow regulator and slowly drip.
(3) Depending on the diameter at breast height, one, two or more sets of IV fluids may be used for a tree ; after the IV is finished, the needle is removed and the hole is sealed with anti-corrosion material to prevent rotting.
(4) Best time to use: during the budding and growth period of trees; use with caution during extreme weather such as high temperature at noon.
